If you are considering rebuilding your home or office, how would you like the peace-of-mind that comes from being able to keep track your building project, view updated photos, read a detailed progress report, and communicate directly with your project manager from any computer connected to the Internet from anywhere in the world? That will be possible when you choose a Hurricane Zone Building Solution.
These building solutions are able to provide the dramatic improvements and benefits primarily because of a specialized panelized wall system developed and provided by Insulated Component Structures (ICS) of Florida. The costs are competitive with traditional construction methods and the features are superior.
The ICS wall panels are framed with stainless steel, providing a wall framework with load-bearing strength that is three times that of traditional block. Within the galvanized steel frame are two gypsum composite wall panels, which does not burn or absorb moisture. In between the two gypsum wall panels is injected very high-density, non-toxic BASF polyurethane foam, which is fire-retardent and provides the superior insulation properties.
The ICS of Florida wall panel system is one of the 30 approved building systems currently approved by the State of Lousiana, and is currently being used in rebuilding projects throughout the area.
The design and engineering of the ICS panelized wall system allows builders slide wall panels together with ease and efficiency and lock them together. A galvanized steel receiving track is bolted down into a monolithic concrete slab or other flooring system. The wall units are numbered at the factory and is slid into the receiving track sequentially. The result is a customizable system of building that is faster and requires less human resources. Below are a series of photographs that illustrate the building process. Click on any of the photos to see a larger version:
Bolting steel receiving channels to concrete slab
Patented corner wall unit provides a foundation of strength
Wall units lock together for fast installation
A steel truss is lowered onto the walls
The building is prepared for interior and exterior wall treatment, such as stucco, dry wall, etc.
After the wall panels are up and the steel truss is in place, the our solution provides a higher standard of materials to match the features offered by the ICS wall panel system to complete the building. Reinforced steel roof, hurricane windows and doors. With the strength established, we work on the cosmetic appeal of our buildings, providing a variety of exterior interior treatments, including tile flooring, granite countertops, wood cabinetry, quality plumbing, stucco, etc.
